## Welcome!

[PBS LearningMedia](https://www.pbslearningmedia.org/), a partnership of PBS and the WGBH Educational Foundation, is a free, PreK-12 digital media service available to educators nationwide. Our website is a trusted source of content and home to more than 30,000 classroom-ready materials created by PBS member stations and partners.

Throughout the school year, teachers and students visit PBS LearningMedia to find and engage with content in the following ways:

- watch videos
- complete assignments
- search
- share

Educators value the quality of the media they find on the platform, along with the immersive, self-paced [Interactive Lesson Plans](https://docs.pbs.org/space/DLM/3582688/How+to+Create+an+Interactive+Lesson) offered. Through our research, we’ve learned that educators search our platform for video segments that introduce a topic or explain a concept to students. Teachers use traditional lesson plans on the platform, as well as the classroom [support materials](https://docs.pbs.org/space/DLM/3584549/Templates+and+Classroom+Support+Materials) that accompany all of our media. All of the content on PBS LearningMedia is aligned to state and national [curriculum standards](https://docs.pbs.org/space/DLM/3584546/Standards+%26+Practices), which teachers use to frame their lesson planning.

To ensure the success of your content, please review the [Editorial Guide](https://docs.pbs.org/space/DLM/3584000/PBS+LearningMedia+Editorial+Guide) and the [CMS User Manual](https://docs.pbs.org/space/DLM/3577603/CMS+User+Manual).

> ⚠️ If you haven’t already been trained on the platform or you are looking for a refresher course, **[contact us](mailto:PBSLM.MC@pbs.org)****.**
