## Overview

The PBS.org Station Links List provides a place for you to add links to areas of your station website, such as a donation page and TV schedule, as well as links to other station affiliates. The PBS.org Station Links List displays in a dropdown menu at the top of PBS.org when a user scrolls over your station's logo.

## Requirements

This List requires a minimum of one (1) link and allows a maximum of five (5) links.

## How to schedule a version of the Station Links List

- From the Station Lists dashboard, click **PBS.org Station Links** (Figure 1) and <u>**[schedule a version of the List](https://docs.pbs.org/space/CB/327555258/How+to+Schedule+a+List+Version)**</u>.

- In the Display Name textbox, type a** custom title** for this version of your Station Links List, if desired (Figure 2.1). *This is optional.*
- **Save **the page (Figure 2.2).
- Click **Add Item** to begin adding Station Links (Figure 2.3).

- In the Text textbox, type the **text you want to display** for your link (Figure 3.1). This is the text users see. **Max characters, including spaces: 26**
- In the URL textbox, type the **full URL** of the page to which you want your first station link to direct (Figure 3.2). Be sure to add https:// or http:// in front of each URL
  - *Example: https://www.mystation.org/schedule*
- When finished, click** Save & Add Another** to save this item and add another or **Save **to save the page and return to the item view (Figure 3.3).

> ❌ **You can add up to five (5) station links. If you add more than five links, the item will not save.**

- After saving, a notification displays, indicating the item has been added to this version (Figure 4).

- The version of your Station Links List displays in the dropdown menu at the top of [PBS.org](http://PBS.org) when a user scrolls over your station's logo (Figure 5).

> ❌ <span style="color: #ff0000">**After your version is live, it cannot be edited.**</span> You must create a new version or copy the live version. Copying the live version comes in handy if you want to carry over existing items to your new version.

## How to change your Station Links

<span style="color: #ff0000">**After a version is live, it cannot be edited.**</span> You must create a new version or copy the live version. Copying the live version comes in handy if you want to carry items over to the new version.

The steps below illustrate how to edit your List items.

- From the main Station Links List view, click the** right-facing arrow** next to the item you wish to edit to expand the section (Figure 1).

- Click **Edit Item** and make changes to your List item (Figure 2).

## How users find this List on your station portal

The Station Links List displays in a dropdown menu at the top of [PBS.org](http://PBS.org) when a user scrolls over your station's logo. 

- A user should hover over the station logo in the upper right corner of PBS.org (Figure 1.1).
- They can find Station Links under the heading "*More From [ Your Local Station ]*" (Figure 1.2).
