## Overview

Bento offers several ways to preview your published and unpublished pages. This section shows you all the ways in which you can view your pages while working in the Bento console.  

## Preview options

| Name | Function |
| --- | --- |
| Open Preview | Displays unpublished and published pages in their current state |
| Open Live | Displays published pages in their current state, as they appear on your website |
| Preview Page | Displays the live version of the page that is currently open in the Bento console |
| Preview Unsaved Changes | Displays all modifications to the page currently being worked on |

## How to access preview options

Preview options are available from the **left side page navigation menu** and from the **green Preview button **in the upper right section of each page.

## Preview page in its current state

Preview the last saved version of any published page, except <span style="color: #1d1c1d">[blog](https://docs.pbs.org/space/B3/4751535/Blogs)</span><span style="color: #1d1c1d">, </span><span style="color: #1d1c1d">[popup](https://docs.pbs.org/space/B3/4751680/Popup)</span><span style="color: #1d1c1d">, and </span><span style="color: #1d1c1d">[specialty](https://docs.pbs.org/space/B3/4751492/Specialty+Pages)</span><span style="color: #1d1c1d"> pages. This option is not available for pages that have not yet been published.</span>

- From the left navigation menu, click the **downward-facing arrow **to the right of the **title of the page **that you want to preview (Figure 1.1).
- From the menu, click **Open Preview **(Figure 1.2).

## View live version 

This option allows you to keep working on the page you have open while viewing another page in a new tab. The page that is currently live on your site displays; the most recent modifications do not display until the page is saved. This is available for published pages only. 

- From the left navigation menu, click the **downward-facing arrow **to the right of the** title of the page** you want to preview (Figure 1.1).
- Click **Open Live** to view the page as it currently displays live on your site (Figure 1.3).
- The page opens in a new browser tab.

## View last saved version of current page being viewed

Use this option to view the last saved version of the page you are viewing. 

- In the upper right side of the page you are currently viewing, click the **green Preview button **(Figure 1.1).

## View current page unsaved changes 

View unsaved changes on the page you currently have open, including changes to the header and footer. For instance, if you hide the header and footer and preview unsaved changes, the page displays without those items. If there have been no changes to the page, this option is not available.

- In the upper right side of the page you are currently viewing, click the **green Preview button **(Figure 1.1).
- From the menu, click **Preview unsaved changes** to view changes that have been made to the page before saving (Figure 1.2). - A new browser tab opens, displaying the page with your unsaved changes.
