What is the Airdates component?

The Airdates component surfaces all shows on any given PBS station. Producers have the ability to display upcoming episodes of a particular series on a specific station.

  • Producers can display the next time their show/series/episode appears on a station that is selected by the user.
  • Stations can display the next time a given show will air on their station Bento site. Stations may upload an image to represent a show in the module. If no image is present, the component will display the show name.
  • This component has implementation options for both producer and station sites.

The Airdates component displays two weeks of data at a time.  In other words, any program that airs more than two weeks out from the day your users are viewing your website will not display until it falls within a two week period.

Features

The following features can appear in the Airdates component when viewed in a browser:

  • Local station
  • Program name
